Hi! I’m Marnie. I am an actress, singer and voice artist! I’ve played some colorful roles on TV, film and also sang and performed in New York City, Off-Broadway, National Tours of the United States and Europe including West End and Carnegie Hall.
I was born and raised in Michigan in the United States and studied at Wayne State University, Detroit with BFA degree in Fine and Performing Arts. Since then I’ve lived and worked everywhere including Detroit, Chicago, New York, London and now Leiden!
My mother tongue is American, but I proudly speak Dutch and studied the language at Leiden University with a diploma in Dutch as a second language (NT2II). I give workshops, private singing lessons and coach for auditions in English and Dutch.
My way of teaching is that I offer a safe place to develop. With a combination of love and constructive advice, you will flourish. I am goal oriented and so I would like to work with you to achieve your goals. I also teach you how to bring a song to life with feeling and heart.
