Leidse Ballet & Theaterschool
The Leidse Ballet & Theaterschool, founded in 1984 and run for 40 years by Carol Schrijnemaekers, has been under the artistic and managerial direction of Elianne Beukers and Mats van der Mark since 2024, and is located in the heart of Leiden.
Recreation lessons
The Leidse Ballet & Theatre School offers a wide range of quality classes led by certified teachers. All groups are divided in terms of age and level. Students can enjoy various dance classes (from 2 years) and also classes like yoga, ballet barre fitness, musical and singing lessons.
Pre education Program
Besides our recreational department, the Leidse Ballet & Theatre School offers professional training for dance and/or theatre students who aspire to have a career in the performing arts. Through an intensive program students are prepared for auditions for various dance and theatre academies. To be admitted to our pre eduction program, an audition is required.
Facilities
The Leidse Ballet & Theatre School has excellent facilities including four modern studios, lockers and a canteen.
