Hello, I’m Natascha Dejong, perhaps better known as the finalist of the television program ‘SYTYCD’. In 2003 I graduated from ‘the Rotterdam Dance Academy’ (now known as Codarts). I continued my education in New York at the Ailey School and in Los Angeles at the Edge.
I have been able to gain a lot of experience in both commercial and artistic fields, as well as at home and abroad. For example, I performed in the musicals ‘Cats’, ‘Dirty Dancing’ and ‘Chicago’, in television programs such as ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘X-factor’ and ‘the Voice of Holland’, in modern dance productions ‘Stop- Motion’, ‘Peter and the Wolf’ and ‘Red, Yellow & Blue’, the opera ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’ and I was on stage at London’s ‘Shaftesbury Theatre’ in Westend with the ballroom and latin dance company ‘Burn the Floor ‘. Outside of my career as a dancer, I am very active as a dance teacher and I mainly give workshops in the Netherlands and Belgium.
