Hello, my name is Carol. I followed my education at the Rotterdam Dance Academy (Ballet & Jazz). After my education, I did several internships in Paris and New York, among others. As a dancer I have participated in various TV and theater productions at home and abroad.
In 1984 I opened the Leiden Ballet & Theater School, then still the Leiden Ballet School. In 1993 the school was expanded with the Shape Studio (dance/condition training) and in 2000 I started the dance production company The Showcompany, with an associated Stage Line, a costume rental company.
In 2004 I found a new challenge to start an extracurricular preparatory course in addition to the recreation department. The curriculum was expanded and the school was renamed Leidse Ballet & Theater School.
As the artistic and business manager of the Leiden Ballet & Theater School, I hope, together with my team of teachers, to enthuse a large number of students for dance, theater and singing every day!
