Iara Raiana Groothuis

Hi, I’m Iara. In 2013 I graduated from Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts. Then I studied in New York for six months at Peridance Capezio Center and The Ailey School. I was part of the group Funky Presidents conducted by Eszteca Noya. We participated in the first season of Everybody Dance Now and reached the live shows (semi-final). I have danced for Danny de Munk, X-Factor, Reebok, Heineken Marketing Awards, B-brave and Robin Thicke at the MTV European Music Awards, among others. In addition, I am registered with one of the largest dance agencies in London, AMCK. I am not only active in the commercial dance world but also in the underground dance scene where I specialize in House, Waacking and Vogueing. In the vogue scene I’m in The Legendary House of Ninja!
